Plenary Panel

Making Collaboration Works

We face a growing demand for excellent infrastructure, greater global competition, sustainability, rising costs and an increasing focus among owners to maximize the return on their investment. To meet these challenges, we have to create solutions for complex spatial issues. Recent technological developments, 3D modeling, use of IoT in geospatial analytics, etc. improve collaboration and efficiency in planning and design phase, during construction and for ongoing operational management.

Integrated GIS and BIM, resulting from sound geodesign processes, is of utmost importance. The knowledge of putting geospatial data to smart use forms the backbone that frames the different tools and collaboration of various stakeholders.

The panel, featuring top-level geodesign and BIM thought leaders, will discuss the essentials of making such collaboration work, especially in the realm of the ever-evolving building and infrastructure industry.
