Call for Papers

We are pleased to invite you to submit a paper to the Geo|Design+BIM conference Europe! We welcome research and applications that demonstrate how Geodesign, geospatial technology and BIM are (or can be) used to enhance spatial processes. You may present a project, research, or other idea showing the results of integrating BIM in Geodesign processes. On the other hand, you may have a project that could be improved by integrating GeoBIM and Geodesign, as the conference is also about exploring opportunities to optimize spatial processes by bridging the gap between disciplines in spatial planning, construction, usage and maintenance.

Two possible submission types:

  • Short paper (maximum 2,000 words)
The 10 best short papers will be invited to extend their papers to a book chapter format for the Springer geodesign subseries (4,000 to 6,000 words).
  • Poster/Visualization Rendering:
These visual presentations of work will be placed at the display space. Submit a 500-word abstract.
The main conference themes:
  • Geodesigning Smart Cities
  • Smart Stadiums: Journey to EURO 2020
