Technical Session

GEO|Design+BIM for Sustainability and Community Engagement The application of geodesign and BIM to construction projects has the potential to enhance the quality of information provided for making critical design decisions regarding an asset's environmental impact. Integrative design, multiple stakeholder collaboration, common goal-setting, presentation of complex concepts and dialogue between stakeholders are fundamental to sustainable design processes as they are to BIM-enabled construction. The session will discuss integration of geodesign and BIM in sustainable construction and asset management, touching upon energy efficient building/infrastructure, and best practices in engaging communities in the design processes.
